FAQs

  • What programs does Breadfruit Academy offer?

We offer a variety of hands-on training programs focused on baking, pastry, and culinary arts. Our courses range from 2 to 6 weeks and cover everything from foundational bread-making techniques to advanced pastry and dessert creations. Each program is designed to build real-world skills you can use immediately.

  • Where do the training sessions take place?

All training takes place at our certified partner facilities—professional bakeries, cafes, and kitchens in your community. This allows you to gain valuable experience in authentic, working environments rather than just a classroom.

  • How do I apply or enroll in a program?

Simply visit our Join page and complete the enrollment form with your details and program interests. Our admissions team will review your application and contact you within 24–48 hours to confirm your spot or discuss any additional requirements.

  • What payment options are available?

Payment in full is required before the start of your program. We also offer flexible payment plans upon approval. Please reach out to our admissions office to learn more about available options.

  • What is your refund policy?

Refunds are available only within 24 hours of payment and must be requested via a written statement (email). After 24 hours, payments are non-refundable except if Breadfruit Academy cancels the program.

  • Will I receive a certificate after completing the course?

Yes! Upon successful completion of the program—including attendance and meeting course requirements—you will receive a Certificate of Completion that can enhance your resume and professional portfolio.

  • Do I need previous culinary experience to enroll?

No prior experience is required. We welcome students of all skill levels, from complete beginners to seasoned home bakers and aspiring professionals.

  • What should I wear or bring to class?

Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes suitable for kitchen environments and clothing you don’t mind getting flour or ingredients on. Some partner facilities provide aprons and basic tools, but you will be informed of any specific requirements before classes begin.

  • How do you ensure safety during training?

Student safety is paramount. All students receive kitchen safety training and must follow strict hygiene and safety protocols during hands-on sessions. Our partner facilities also maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety compliance.

  • Are there job placement opportunities after training?

Yes! Graduates gain access to Breadfruit Connect, our exclusive network of industry employers, mentors, and job opportunities. We actively support students in pursuing internships, apprenticeships, and employment within our partner facilities and beyond.

  • Can I retake a course or attend advanced training?

Absolutely. We encourage continued learning. Students who want to refine skills or move on to advanced programs can enroll in subsequent courses or workshops.

  • Who can I contact if I have more questions?
